Teenagers are the most active group of people I know. They go to school and study for about eight hours, and then come home from school to do their homework, and then go to a friend's house to party the night away. Even on a school night, teenagers often choose to do all sorts of things like going to the mall, volunteering at local institute,
working for a part-time job, or simply surfing the net and watching their favorite shows rather than go to sleep.
What teenagers do not realize is that their neglect or lack of sleep can harm their bodies in the long run. It is not healthy to abuse the body and do away with an appropriate amount of rest. Sleep is important to a teenager because the body is still not fully mature and it needs all the help and nourishment it can get, not just from food. Moreover, sleep deprivation can affect mental abilities that a teen needs to excel in school or work.
